Medical Exam
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has strict medical standards for pilots to make sure they’re physically and mentally fit. At Elite, we know the medical exam can be scary, so we’re here to help you every step of the way.
We’ve teamed up with certified aviation medical examiners to connect you with an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) who’ll help you understand the exam and make sure you pass.

Written Exam
The written exam is the second step to getting your pilot’s license. It covers a lot of stuff, like rules, airspace, weather, how airplanes fly, and how they perform.

Flight Exam
The flight exam, or checkride, is the last step to getting your pilot’s license. It’s like a test to see if you can fly an airplane safely and well in different situations.
The exam has two parts: talking and flying. A special FAA examiner will give you a test on your knowledge of airplanes, how to plan flights, rules, and making good decisions in the air.
In the flying part, you’ll show off your flying skills by doing maneuvers, takeoffs, landings, and emergency procedures. If you train at our academy, you’ll get the best training and support to pass the exam and become a licensed pilot.
